Ever since its introduction to the Lebanese nightlife scene, White has pioneered the concept of the high-end restaurant and lounge with high-class entertainment. Few other places have succeeded at being so cutting-edge and classy at the same time.
After four years of fame from the top of the iconic An-Nahar Building, and its new location in Dora Sea Side Road in 2011, White has received praise from the media, welcomed more international guests than ever before, and made a splash with some of the biggest names in the dance music industry.
Start by imagining a pure white open space that fits 1200 people. A city lies below you, a Mediterranean skyline envelops you. You stand, cocktail in hand, and let yourself be seduced by the dancing crowd, the tinkling of champagne glasses, the wondrous lights, the sea breeze, and the crystal-clear beats. This is Beirut at its finest. This is classic White.
The White experience is famous for allowing everyone to see everyone else from any corner of the venue. While keeping this playful spirit, it recently upgraded the location and enhanced the design with a more progressive feel. As a result, White now features one big central bar, a small VIP and a dedicated VIP section, which in other words “makes you feel like you own the place.”
Bars and tables now feature a glowing light scheme. Further additions include a completely retooled sound system with sharp futuristic speakers that boost the aural experience.
White continues to line up some of the most popular and renowned dance acts in the world. Among the live events that have appeared are: Fedde Le Grand, Steve Angello, Steve Edwards, Timo Maas, Richard Durand, Shawnee Taylor, R.I.O Project, Lexter, Keith Thompson and a tribute to His Highness Michael Jackson.
As Beirut continues to have its moment in the sun, people are still discovering how space, music, atmosphere, menu and venue blend perfectly at White, to offer the height of summer entertainment.
